Upgraded Vera Prop v3.0 by JohnsonArms Upgraded Vera Prop v3.0 by JohnsonArms
Here's a much more legit rendition of Vera from the TV Show "Firefly". These are made with the assistance of my Father, Bruce Johnson who is an excellent woodworker and fabricator.

We really enjoy putting these together and although they take a while to make, we will be happy to entertain additional commissions if anyones' interested :)

Here's an alternate build using more standard Nerf parts: johnsonarms.deviantart.com/art…

"...Are you offering me a Trade?"

Sorry I figured there should be a firefly quote among the comments here. Awesome work dude.

I know what a bitch the Vera is to draw, from doing my Jayne Hello Kitty bastardisation, so i can only imagine the pain-in-the-arse she must've been to build.

Haha, you are quite correct, Nump!  But being a labor of love it makes the hours a lot easier to put in.  Some day we'll smarten up and make some moulds.   Until then we'll just have to take the opportunity to revise each version in a hope to make the overall product as accurate as possible and as much as the nerf blaster will allow ;)

Our Dear Mrs. Reynolds right? Where Mal gets "married"? Been a while since I've gone thru the episodes.

I honestly forget the show names, but that sounds right.  I also love the one where they go back to find that Jayne is a local legend  hehe

"The hero of Canton, the man they call Jayne" Personally, I like Outa Gas. Where the ship breaks down and Mal has a bunch of flashbacks remembering the history of the ship.

It almost looks real, I think the biggest detriment to that would be the bullets on the stock.  They look very papery.

still, another fave from me!

I love input,  thank you :)  Funny Funny thing is the bullets are brass tubing and the projectiles are casted resin from a mould I made.  I'll look into another solution for 4.0 hehe
