Hey, nice rifle! I plan on making something similar with an old Tippmann i have lying around and a 3D printer. Any suggestions?

I've not made use of the 3D printers yet, just due to the cost and relatively low resolution parts they produce. Its still easier for me to fabricate with more standard materials at this time, but some day those printers will really be something to make life easier :) I would recommend you looking for scrap parts to help decorate the tippman and add in the the 3D parts where you can. Have fun with the project and I hope you'll share the results!

Which gun(s) is that? I recognize the scope and the extended barrel, but not the stock and actual gun. It's rather realistic for NERF.

This is friggen epic. Do you use hot glue to stick on the extra bits?

I put it together from a few different nerf guns and then added some custom bits. The biggest custom part is the paint - the gun originally was a really bright blue :)

I'm glad you like it, that was a lot of work, but if you all get a smile from it, I'll do another in a heartbeat!

love it, Longstrike with a recon barrel?
what paints do you use and where did you get the pressure gauge?

You got it! Just your typical modeling paints and some rattle can spraying for the base colors. I made the gauge from scratch, the face is a waterslide decal under some clear drying glue that makes bubbles as if its filled with some kind of liquid. The only metal on the gun is the copper tubing and the brass screw heads on the "wood" paneling.
