It looks like you used some sort of brown for the bottom layer then went over it with a black. I do like the grey that you have on certain places like the butt and the jam door. I've always wondered what sorts of paints you use, I have a devil of a time finding anything that works well or gives me the colors I want

Haha, I wish I could remember exactly what colors I mixed for this one. It was done over a year ago and I has been lost to the ages...or until I give that style another go :) I do know that the base color for the gun was black before I went after it with my brushes, hehe.

I figured the base was a black. I'm currently working on steampunking my longshot. Unfortunately, when I moved back into my apartment I forgot to bring my sandpaper, so I'm stuck until I get a chance to go get more. But I'm giving it a nice red maple look with a gold barrel and accents. The base coat is a nice sort of grey-ish black, which doesn't show up on the grass too obviously so the school doesn't know

Yep, taking all the logos off is extra cost. This buyer decided to leave them on. I guess it is fun looking for them, like a "where's waldo" book, eh? :)

I also did not remove the "N-Strike" logo or the word "longshot" for those playing at home!
