Very well done. I know I've already commented on this piece but I'm really impressed with the detail work on this one. Do you disassemble the gun before you paint? If not, can they still fire?

It always depends on the time and money involved :) If they're willing to pay for the extra time, I will take apart the entire gun and also paint the interior of the gun. This avoids any stock plastic from showing inside the vents, etc.. I always ensure they fire before shipping, but if someone needed it solely as a prop, I can make it non-firing very easily ;)

If you spray-primed and painted a nerf gun, wouldn't the paint mess up the firing power/capability?

(Can you tell by now that I'm trying to break into the craft?)

Haha, I welcome ya to the club! ;) The paint CAN affect the performance, but if you're careful or know where the paint poses a problem, you just kinda learn to avoid it after messing up a few times :)
