Han Solo's BlasTech DL-44 Pistol Replica by JohnsonArms Han Solo's BlasTech DL-44 Pistol Replica by JohnsonArms
Here's another attempt at one of these toy "Han Solo" guns. I think I improved the wood and metal surfaces, but it also took more time. I'll take that tradeoff, hehe

I will be doing more SW stuff soon so please check back or have a +watch :)

I have a real Mauser pistol and I've always wanted to convert it to look like this.
(Geek note...the actor that played Greedo was actually a woman)

The note has been memorized and stored in my brain, hehe. I know they make and sell all the parts to attach to a real base gun as you have, it will just probably be crazy expensive. If you do it, let me know the damage.

Not at all :) I appreciate the compliment greatly. Did you ever find the crazy glue for that PPG kit? I have not seen update photos since October!

The finished ppg are in my gallery folder, SCI-FI GUNSMITH.
Trying to decide on my next project but no, I've yet to get a bottle of Jet (super glue).

Spot on....but I always thought his scope hung off to the right of the gun, about forty five degrees off from square, with the barrel? I also understand that A. If I am right I am being a dick, and B. If I am wrong I could get raped by an angry mob of people who are also dicks. But hey! I live on the edge.

This was just how they made this particular copy, but I'm certain there's a number of inconsistencies with the design versus the screen props. I thought it looked pretty accurate for what it was and figured it deserved to get some better threads :) I'm glad you like the paintwork!

Yeah man. Looks all worn and awesome. I bet you toybox kicks ass. I keep selling off my fun things...downsizing. Some day i will have a home and I can hoard awesome things like capes and sunglasses I will never wear. And swords....

I just customize the base body and then paint them, so unfortunately not like that is in my possession. You can find these online - they're usually white plastic :)

Eeyupp, Mauser C96. Pack a rifle scope on the top (slightly tilted), glue some cooling fins and stuff from model kits to it, mount a muzzle loudener and you got Han Solo's favourite problem solver.
