That's correct! Now you know where they got the inspiration for the game gun :)

I don't know why I never noticed this before now but they used the same handgun as Blade Runner in the first season of Battlestar Galactica, Edward James Olmos was in both of them so maybe it's not a coincidence.

It's not the same gun. It's a similar aesthetic, but they're far from being the same.

That is cool, love that gun. I was amazed about Vera being the prop from the movie Showtime. Much better in the hands of Jayne tho :)

I've always wanted the gun from Blade Runner...wasn't it based on some Asian pistol from the like...Japanese police force or something?

I know there's articles on the subject, but I honestly don't know if that's correct. I've seen different replicas with conflicting markings. I'll have to look that up. Thanks for checking out the gun, I'll be starting on another one soon!

I'd imagine an item like this sells for quite a bit since is a replica of a movie prop...damn, I'd love to own one though XD

Thanks for taking me back a bit ^_^

Thats very kind! The last one I sold was for 175, but I had to include the kit's cost and also all the prep this particular cast requires. It's a lower end version, but for the money I don't think someone could expect to get much more detail. I don't know if that was what you were thinking, but I know the one I'll be working on soon should have much cleaner lines, but it will also be more $$. I'm really glad it gave you some good memories, that's the fun part about what I do :)
