1889 Steam-Powered Blunderbuss by Johnson Arms by JohnsonArms 1889 Steam-Powered Blunderbuss by Johnson Arms by JohnsonArms
Here's a final photo of the "new" Steampunk Blunderbuss! from Johnson Arms & Co.

Made with the stock, barrel and trigger from a deactivated Mosin Nagant rifle. The rest are parts either found or fabricated by Jason Rawley (firebladecomics.com) and myself. I'm sorry the shoulder strap could not be more authentic looking, but we ran out of funds for the project. It can be improved when a better shoulder strap is found. :)

Kind of reminds me of Caitlyn's gun from League of Legends.

I'd love to see something like this, but as a bolt-action rifle without the blunderbuss flare, some functioning plasma bits in addition to the gauges (a la the wunderwaffe from CoD Zombies), and an ebony wood/silver fittings color theme. Would definitely love to have for my KLM Trooper that I'm working on. :I

How much would it cost for something like that?

Huh. Oddly enough, this rifle reminds me of the one Caitlyn uses in LoL.

Why would anyone make a blunderbuss operating with steam technology?
The amount of effort that must go into the making of that gun just seems wasted, when one could make a regular repeating rifle that uses self-contained propellant in ever shot, or hell, even a machinegun with some springs and tool-steel, which uses the power of the cartridge to cycle itself.

Aesthetically, it's alright, but conceptually, it's nonsensical.

And you good Sir, have no imagination. Stuck on such frivolous things such as logic in comparison to such a marvelous piece of work.

You have destroyed all my hopes and dreams. I hope you are happy, sir. Now I just hope to goodness that this plasma-powered stuff works out..

Not steampunk. I don't see a single penny or octopus anywhere.
